Sue Ranson Profile:

Qualifying as a Physiotherapist in 1990 and having worked in Australia, Canada and the UK, Sue brings a wealth of knowledge to our clinic, supporting both our team and our clients.

Sue has an extensive working background. She has worked in acute medical and palliative care, cardiothoracics, rehabilitation, pain management, aged care, outpatients, ICU, musculoskeletal and sports injuries. The bulk of her 29 years experience has been in private practice. As the Principal Practitioner of her own practice on the Sunshine Coast in Qld, she experienced a varied caseload and provided a community focused practice in her home town of Peregian Beach. Having sold her practice 5 years ago, Sue has had the opportunity to travel and work around Australia as a Locum Physiotherapist in Qld, SA, and now WA.

Amongst her array of Physiotherapy skills, Sue’s specific areas of interest include: a hands on approach, exercise therapy, muscle energy techniques and dry needling, which she applies as required in her treatments.

Enjoying interacting within the community, Sue has worked with her local Surf Life Saving and Board Riders clubs as well as toured internationally with various hockey teams.

Outside of Physiotherapy, Sue’s other interests include travel, scuba diving, hockey, stand up paddle boarding, photography, food and wine.

Jessica Lim Profile:

Qualifying as a Physiotherapist in 2013, Jessica then went on to work in private clinics, aged care and hospital environments in both rural and metropolitan towns.

Jessica has worked across a range of areas in Physiotherapy including women’s health and continence, neurology, cardiopulmonary and has spent most of her career working in musculoskeletal physiotherapy (dry needling offered), treating people of all ages and physical abilities.

Following her special interest in Women’s Health and Continence, Jessica completed further studies in assessment and management of pelvic floor dysfunction. Jessica also has a background in management of small groups within a clinical and sports environment, running daily exercise, aqua and clinical pilates classes.

Valuing an inter-professional and a holistic approach to patient care, Jessica has previously worked with nursing and care staff, has been apart of a team of health care professionals and Doctors providing referred care to patients under the Chronic Disease Management Scheme and treated DVA patients, within private practice.

Jessica values working in a team environment and has shared her knowledge by providing clinical tuition of year 2 and 3 physiotherapy students.

Outside of Physiotherapy, Jessica enjoys the outdoors from diving, surfing and running to camping and hiking.

Anne-Marie Dunnet Profile:

Qualifying as a Physiotherapist in 2002, Anne-Marie has worked across both the private sector and public sectors of physiotherapy, over the last 16 years. Previously, Anne-Marie held the position of Senior Physiotherapist (for 8 years) at the Warren and Blackwood Community Health Care Unit in Manjimup, through which she also serviced other hospitals in the South West district. Anne-Marie now provides locum support for public hospitals, private physiotherapy and health clinics, throughout the South West and Exmouth.

Anne-Marie has worked across an extensive range of areas in Physiotherapy including the Intensive Care Unit, Women’s Health, Paediatrics, Cardiothoracics, Gerentology, Orthopaedics, Respiratory, Musculoskeletal and Neurology.

Following her interests, Anne-Marie has focused her career in the areas of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and paediatrics and is a member of the Chronic Disease, Cardio, Respiratory and Paediatrics network groups run throughout Western Australia. She has implemented many cardiopulmonary rehabilitation classes over the years, from which she has found many positive outcomes for her clients and their families.

Paediatrics is one of her great passions and being a mother of 4 has helped her professional development. Anne-Marie enjoys all aspects of working with children and their families and has a range of experience, from normal development (clumsy kids, plagiocephally and torticollis issues), breast feeding difficulties, through to having spent some time in the Princess Margaret Hospital burns unit.

Anne-Marie has been a mentor for both new graduate physiotherapists as well as more senior physiotherapy staff over the past 5 years.

In her time off, Anne-Marie is a Medic / Sports Trainer for her local football teams, work on her family farm and enjoys most water sports (including: skiing, snorkelling, surfing), as well as being outdoors, camping and hiking with her children.

Chloe Ye Profile:

Chloe completed a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne in 2016, majoring in physiology. Seeking hands on experience, Chloe then decided to complete a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy to add to her skills set and knowledge of the human body and how it works.

Qualifying as a Remedial Massage Therapist in 2019, Chloe is enjoying her journey in the allied health industry. Chloe has volunteered as a Massage Therapist for ‘Run Melbourne’ and “Mother’s Day Classic Run’ and provided corporate massages for a variety of businesses and the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Having a high interest in human anatomy and how soft tissue therapy can be used to relieve and alleviate pain, Chloe is passionate about helping people as well as continuing to learn and build on her knowledge.

During her massages, Chloe may apply a variety of techniques including, deep pressure, trigger point therapy, myofascial tension techniques and stretching, to treat men and women of all ages and to help relieve them of their ailments.

Evie Shepherd Profile:

Highly motivated and enthusiastic, Evie is a Qualified Remedial Massage Therapist holding a passion for health and wellbeing, with experience in a wide range of massage techniques, including: cupping, manual lymphatic drainage, myofascial tension release techniques, stretching, trigger point therapy and remedial sports massage. Evie enjoys seeing the many benefits and improvements massage provides to our daily living, applying those same values into all aspects of treatment.

As well as the physical benefits of massage, Evie has a passion for exploring the positive relationship between massage and mental health. With a particular interest in the effects of stress on the body, she had the privilege of being on work experience within the Acute Psychiatric Unit at the Austin Hospital, giving massage treatment as part of the eating disorder program. An area in which she hopes to explore in the future.

Evie has also has worked as a volunteer in a variety of areas including: being a Youth Group Leader, as part of the local community youth group, leading on Camps such as ESA (Equipt, Serve, Assist) summer teen camp, RDA (Riding for the Disabled Australia): working with children with disabilities, as well as caring for animals (paying high attention to safety).

She has provided massage to a wide demographic, including the young and elderly, providing massages in corporate setting; including Parmalat and Toyota, working at multiple Melbourne marathons and working closely alongside netball teams.

Evie also brings with her experience derived from working in an environment, which promotes a natural and rounded approach to health. Working in the local health food store from a young age, she has grown up accustomed to a holistic approach to health.

Through support and consultation, Evie encourages clients to take charge of their own health to support a balanced life. Tania Knight Profile:

Tania is the Owner Manger of the health clinic: Ningaloo Massage & Health. Following her interest in the rehabilitation of the human body, Tania graduated from her first massage diploma in 2003 and continued her studies by completing another diploma in sports injury and massage. Travelling around the world, Tania has shadowed Olympic Physiotherapists in London, France and Australia and worked in a variety of clinics as a professional Massage Therapist. Returning to Australia in 2007, Tania became a Remedial Massage Therapist and established her business in Perth. Following her passion for the ocean to live in Exmouth by the Ningaloo Reef, Tania moved to Exmouth: Western Australia and on the 9th December 2008 relocated her business to Exmouth, now known as Ningaloo Massage & Health.

Tania continued her professional development as a Remedial Massage Therapist, which has involved using real time imaging machines to view the muscular skeletal system, wet labs to view the actual human anatomy, and a variety of complementary workshops and courses.

Simultaneously, Tania also followed her maritime interests, which allowed her to train as a Dive Medical Technician and Decompression Chamber Operator. During training through The Underwater Centre Fremantle Pty Ltd (TUCF), Tania trained and assisted at the Hyperbaric Chamber Department of the Fremantle Hospital, the Emergency Department of the Fremantle Hospital and in an operating theatre at the Royal Perth Hospital. While working internationally offshore, Tania operated a decompression chamber as a Commercial Diver.

Tania previously completed a Bachelor of Business and worked as a Senior Business Management & Process Re-Engineer Consultant and Senior Analyst, for over 7 years, on local and international projects in the NT, WA and UK. Tania worked with 4 of the Big 5, employed by Arthur Andersen Consulting, Ernst & Young, DMR Consulting Group, and worked as a freelancer in conjunction with Deloitte & Touche and KPMG / ATOS.

Tania was involved in project management teams, conducting strategic reviews and advising fortune 500 companies (Wesfarmers) and government organisations on how to optimise, re-engineer and maximise the efficiency of business processes, roll out methodologies, audit processes, conduct risk assessments & change management strategies, implement technologies, testing and training.

Tania has worked across a large number of industries in an variety of locations including St Georges Terrace; Perth Western Australia, the business district of Darwin; Northern Territory, and the financial district of London; United Kingdom, where she has gained an in-depth understand of business requirements.

In 2011 Tania completed a 6 month Leadership WA program, after receiving a scholarship from Rio Tinto. Leadership WA is ‘an independent, non-for-profit organisation that facilitates leadership enhancement opportunities for high potential leaders’ (LWA website 2011). The program incorporates individual development and community involvement. Participation in this program encouraged and supported Tania to pursue her interest in helping the rural community of Exmouth, which lead to the development of the Physiotherapy service in our clinic.

Merging her skill set from all careers, Tania aimed to evolved Ningaloo Massage & Health clinic from a service of remedial massage into a clinic which could provide a full circle treatment program to our remote town, whereby clients could seek assistance from a team of professional Therapists.

To date, our clinic has employed a range of professional Therapists from Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Massage: Remedial and Relaxation, Integrative and Nutritional Health and Life Coaching. Ningaloo Massage & Health clinic continues to evolve and employs a team of Therapists with a passion of “supporting a healthier lifestyle” for our clients.
