Group Classes: Exercise, Aqua & Yoga

Exercise Classes

Join our physiotherapist for our exercise classes. Exercise classes are aimed at improving your strength, mobility and general health and well-being. Classes may be general or designed for functional rehabilitation from injury i.e. back pain, surgery or musculoskeletal conditions.

We encourage you to provide your requests and feedback from these classes so Therapists may make these classes more engaging and applicable to the needs to the participants.

Aqua Classes

Join our physiotherapist for our aqua classes. Aqua classes provide a low impact environment, providing buoyancy and a reduction of gravity on the body, which can be used to assist in improving your general health or rehabilitation from injury i.e. back pain and joint replacements.

Aqua classes may be used to decrease pain and swelling, increase function, strength, range of movement, fitness and improve your general well-being.

The temperature of the pool is not regulated, therefore classes are seasonal and subject to suitable weather conditions.

Mum, Dads and Bubs Aqua Classes

Mums, Dads and Bubs hydrotherapy class is a fun introduction to water for your baby. (Please understand, this is not a swimming class). Classes focus on gross motor skills for your baby, improving their strength, movement and development.

Babies should be between 3-6 months old.

The temperature of the pool is not regulated, therefore classes are seasonal and subject to suitable weather conditions.

Yoga Classes

Enjoy a total mind-body workout that combines strengthening and stretching poses with deep breathing and meditation or relaxation, while burning calories and improving muscle tone at the same time.

Yoga aims to assist your body by:
– improving flexibility
– building muscle strength
– improving posture
– increasing blood flow
– relaxing your system
– improving balance
– draining your lymphs and boosting immunity
– helping you to sleep better

Yoga sessions may be provided one-on-one or in small group sessions.
